Metro Station is an American pop rock band that was formed in Los Angeles by Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso. In late 2006, the band signed a recording contract with Columbia Records and RED Ink Records.[5] They are best known for their Top 10 Billboard hit single "Shake It"[6] from their self-titled debut album. The group officially disbanded on March 23, 2010, though Mason Musso is currently launching a solo career under the name Metro Station.[7]
