KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The names of the victims have been released in that two car fatal collision at Michigan and King Monday afternoon. They say 21 year old Adam Kovach died instantly when the SUV struck the passenger side of a car his wife was driving. His 20 month old daughter Ilona Kovach has been upgraded to fair condition at Bronson Methodist. Katie Kovach is nursing bumps and bruises, and mourning the death of her husband, camped out at the bedside of her daughter.
The name of the driver of a Dodge Durango who allegedly ran a red light and caused the accident may not be released until he is formally charged and that may not come until tests are completed to determine whether he was under the influence.
