(Lansing, MI - WHTC News) - Michigan will be shelving or delaying hundreds of road and bridge repair projects as MDOT is looking at an 84 million-dollar budget shortfall next year. The gas tax isn’t raising enough money and the state isn’t qualifying for millions in federal matching grants. Among the projects that will be delayed will be work on US-31 and I-96, along with the proposed M-231 that would connect 120th Avenue across the Grand River.
