Authorities say a man wanted in a woman's slaying in Grand Rapids has stabbed himself to death. Mecosta County sheriff's officials say Sean McLafferty was found dead Wednesday in a hunting cabin four miles southwest of Remus. He was wanted in the killing of Kristie Rae Purcey, whose body was found inside a garage at an apartment McLafferty rented.
