Internal Revenue Service (IRS) bosses filed a tax lien against the Welsh actor with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds last month (Jul11).

The papers, obtained by The Detroit News, suggest the Indiana Jones star owes $1,021,539 (£638,461) in unpaid taxes. Rhys-Davies is also said to owe $506,746 (£316,716) dating back to a 2006 tax bill.
