DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - On a vote of 8-1, the Duluth City Council has turned down a project that would design a new road to get from the Maple Grove Road to the Arrowhead Road. The plan was to build a new road in the vicinity of Joshua Avenue but most councilors said the money for the project is not available at this time. The only supporter, Councilor Garry Krause says traffic is using residential streets in the area as a short cut to the Miller Hill Mall disrupting the neighborhood and ruining the streets.
