Duluth, MN (KDAL) - The five to six inches of snow that fell Sunday and overnight was just the ticket...a ski ticket on Spirit Mountain, Mont du Lac and Giants Ridge.  Area ski hills responded to the natural snow by extending runs and hours, much to the delight of skiers and snow boarders.

Spirit Mountain is open from nine until eight through Thursday and from eight until nine on Fridays and Saturdays.
