Rose Bowl, USA (KDAL) - On New Year's Day the Wisconsin Badgers will play the Stanford Cardinals in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.  The Mayors of Madison and Palo Alto have placed a bet on the outcome of the game.  Mayor Paul Soglin started it.  Either he or the Mayor of Palo Alto will have to wear the opposing teams cap at a City Council Meeting and host a treee planting ceremony in the winners hometown if their team looses.

Wouldn't twenty dollars and a case of beer be better?
