Duluth Mayor Don Ness honored the State's new boys basketball points record holder by proclaiming today "Anders Broman Day." The Mayor made the announcement at a City Hall press conference today, one day after Broman scored 42 points for Lakeview Christian Academy in a victory over Mesabi East at the holiday tournament in Hibbing. That brings Broman's career total to 4,122, which surpassed the previous state record of 4,086. And there's a lot more basketball to play this season.
