CARLTON, MN (KDAL) - After being alerted on Thursday about an abandoned vehicle in Clear Creek Township, the Carlton County Sheriff's Department determined it belonged to a missing man from Wayzata, Minnesota.  A snowmobiler discovered the vehicle on a snowmobile trail off the West Center Road.  Responding deputies found the man, 81 year old Gerald Patrick Maloney, dead outside of the vehicle.  No foul play is suspected in the death and the body was turned over to the Carlton County Coroner's Office.
