ST. PAUL, MN - Hundreds of volunteers are needed throughout Minnesota this summer to monitor the health of state lakes and rivers.  The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency program uses the volunteers to collect valuable information as a first step in protecting lakes and streams.  New volunteers are now being recruited to visit nearby lakes and streams weekly during the summer months.  If you are interested, go the MPCA website or call the agency for more information.
