Duluth, MN (KDAL) - A weather advisory is in place for much of the area today. What started with high winds, became sleet and then snow overnight. Here in the Twin Ports roads are snow and ice covered. I-35 to the Twin Cities is plowed and treated, one of the hardest hit areas was down around Rock Creek.
Light snow here in the Twin Ports, heavier amounts outside of town and in the snowbelt along the South Shore of Lake Superior Bayfield reports six and a half inches of snow this morning. They are expecting a storm total of seven to ten inches and an travel advisory in that area has been issued.
Snow should taper off here in the Twin Ports later in the morning.
