COOK, MN (KDAL) - A fire on Monday morning destroyed a home at 214 2nd Street NW in Cook.  The only occupant of the residence was not home at the time of the blaze that was battled by the Cook and Orr Fire Departments.  Damage estimates were not given but the residence was a total loss.  The St. Louis County Sheriff's Department says nobody was injured but two dogs that were in the home are believed to have perished.  The cause of the fire is being investigated but it did not appear to be suspicious in nature.
