Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Duluth's Grand Lady Martha Alworth has passed away.  She was a local activists concerned about education and world peace.  She was linked to one of Duluth's oldest forturnes in banking, real estate and minerals. She was married to Royal Alworth.

Martha Alworth died at her home on Sunday.  She was 87.  Funeral services will be Saturday at one o'clock at the DECC.
