UNDATED (KDAL) - According to the DNR's preliminary numbers, hunters registered over 243 thousand deer in Wisconsin during the just completed 2012 gun deer hunting season. That is a 7.7 percent increase over a year ago. The number of hunting licenses sold in the state was also up about 2 percent at over 644 thousand.
