DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Even though repairs continue, Highway 1 south of Ely has reopened and motorists are now able to drive through the work zone.  Flaggers will be directing traffic in multiple locations in the area and motorists should expect delays as paving continues.  The road has been closed for most of the summer and lengthy detours were in place.  The project will be completed in November of 2013.
