DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Minnesota Jobs Skills Partnership Board has awarded a Low Income Worker Grant of over 81 thousand dollars to SOAR Career Solutions of Duluth. The two year grant will provide training for 40 people at Lake Superior College in the medical office assistant and over-the-road truck driving programs. The students in the program will be developing entry level job skills that are being sought by area employers. The funds and training will allow low income residents to become self sufficient and increase their incomes.
