Duluth, MN (KDAL) - An attack by two people on a young couple early Saturday morning has left a seventeen year old girl in serious condition.  She was hit with a baseball bat and stabbed in the chest.  Another boy was also beaten.  The incident happened just after midnight on Saturday morning near 8th Street and Lake Avenue.

Douglas County authorities have one of the alleged assailants in custody and police are looking for another.

The names of those involved have not been released.
