Duluth, MN (KDAL) - The Port of Duluth welcomes one of the finest looking vessels on the Great Lakes today.  Set to arrive with a load of cement is the classic grey and white Laker the Alpena.  After dumping her cargo the Alpena will depart out of the Superior entry.

When the old Huron Cement Bagging Plant was open in Duluth, the Alpena was a more frequent visitor to the Twin Ports.  She doesn't visit as often now.  The Alpena is expected to arrive this morning.
