Duluth, MN (KDAL) - While Duluth was being hit by rain, sleet and high winds yesterday, just outside of town and across the Iron Range the season's first snow storm piled up to five inches of snow on the ground in places like; Keewatin, Nashwauk and outside of Orr. Snow was also on the ground in Virginia. Duluth had several snow shows, but no real accumulation.
In Central Wisconsin the storm was much more severe. Seven barns were blown down and numerous other buildings lost their roofs and siding.
The weekend is expected to be calm, but cool.
