DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for most of northeast Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin from 11 a-m to 8 p-m on Tuesday. High temperatures are expected to reach the low 90's with high humidity pushing the heat index values from 95 to 105. The heat is especially dangerous for those in poor health and the elderly. To avoid heat illness, drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun and those outside should take frequent breaks in an air conditioned building. The record high for August 20th in Duluth of 89 set in 1976 could be in jeopardy.
