Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Classes have resumed at Lincoln Park Middle School after the facility was locked down this morning. The Duluth School District says the incident grew from of an incident at the home of a student in which they told their parent that they’d have to pick them up at the jail because they were going to bring a gun to school. The parent alerted authorities, who placed the school in lockdown. A short time later the student in question was located by officers and taken into custody. No specific threats were made. The lockdown lasted about a half hour.
