Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Hans Christian Anderson would be proud.  There are over six hundred figure skaters in Duluth this weekend for the 33rd Annual Northland Figure Skating Championships.  The event is sponsored by the Duluth Figure Skating Club, an organization that has been around for over 90 years.

The white booted skates hit the ice last night and the competition continues through Sunday at the DECC.
