DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The City of Duluth is welcoming public feedback on the environmental assessment worksheet for the proposed Duluth Traverse Mountain Bike Trail System that would extend across Duluth's ridgeline. The city is accepting comments between Feb. 6 and March 7; the comments will be reviewed and discussed at a March 12 Planning Commission meeting. The trail, a project between the City and the Cyclists of the Gitchee Gumee Shores,  would be a single-track, multi-use, natural-surface system built to International Mountain Bike Association guidelines.
