DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Rotary Club of Duluth and the Proctor High School DECA students are hosting an event called "Make Your Mark: Angels for a Cause" on Saturday. They are hoping to have over 9 thousand people simultaneously making snow angels which would break a Guinness Book of World Records mark and raise money for Global Team for Local Initiatives, an organization that supports the indigenous people of Ethiopia affected by climate change. A donation of 5 dollars per person or ten dollars per family is requested to participate in the event at UMD. Gates open at 9:30 a-m and snow angel making starts promptly at 11 a-m.
