DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - One in five northland children are "food insecure" meaning they don't have enough food to lead a healthy, active life.  A new program has been started in Duluth that will supply over 840 northland children with a weekend supply of food.  The "BackPack Program" begins as a pilot at Stowe, Laura McArthur and Nettleton Schools and the Boys and Girls Club of Duluth.  Get more information on the Duluth BackPack Program and donate at northernlakesfoodbank.org
