DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Minnesota Lt. Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon will join Human Services Commissioner Lucinda Jesson in Duluth and Hibbing Friday to discuss the state's health care infrastructure and children's mental health care. In Duluth, the panel discussion "Investing In Minnesota's Health Care Future" will also include Dr. Ray Christensen, the associate dean for rural health at the University of Minnesota Medical School-Duluth campus and officers from several area hospitals. The event is at UMD Friday morning. Then on Friday afternoon, a round table discussion on children's mental health will be held at the Lincoln Elementary School in Hibbing. Governor Dayton's proposed budget includes funding for several initiatives to provide better levels of health care to Minnesotans.
