DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The city will begin removing snow from the downtown area Tuesday, and continue in other areas of Duluth throughout the week. Crews will remove snow from the business district between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. "No Parking" signs will be posted before and during snow removal periods, and residents are asked to observe them or face a ticket or tow. The snow will be moved to a large area just west of Bayfront Park, according to city officials. The remainder of the city's snow-removal schedule, subject to change if it snows:
- Superior Street from 6th Ave. West to 8th Ave. East: Feb. 19
- Michigan Street from 6th Ave. West to 4th Ave. East: Feb. 19
- 4th Street from Mesaba Ave. to 26th Ave. East: Feb. 19
- 1st Street from Mesaba to 12th Ave. East: Feb. 20
- Canal Park: Feb. 20
- West Duluth Business District: Feb. 21
- Lincoln Park Business District: Feb. 21
