SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - The 28th Annual Superior Days gets underway Tuesday in Madison. Over the years, the lobbying event has grown to include Douglas County and all of northwestern Wisconsin and is designed to bring area issues of importance to the attention of State Legislators at the Capitol. Meetings with legislators and Department heads are scheduled throughout the two day event ending with a reception and dinner on Wednesday night. Among the issues the delegation will be pushing this year is mining legislation, a renewal of the Minnesota-Wisconsin tax reciprocity agreement and Highway 2 expansion planning.
