Outside Of Duluth, (KDAL) - In something of a rare situation that only occurs once every several years a collection of rare owls hanging out in the woods north of Duluth. This weekend birders from as far away as southern Minnesota and Iowa cam for the sixth annual Sax-Zim Bog Winter Birding Festival. They saw all different kinds of owls, great gray owls, snowy owls and northern hawk owls. The number of birders outnumbered the birds, but the event was successful and the owls didn't seem to mind.
