DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Minnesota Department of Agriculture and partner organizations are holding a series of meetings to talk about the planned treatments for gypsy moths in St. Louis County. An open house type meeting will be held on Friday from 5 to 7 p-m in the Lakewood Township Hall at 3110 Strand Road. The MDA has found gypsy moth infestations covering about 63 thousand acres in the county and is developing treatment plans for the affected areas which include sites near Shell Lake, Eagles Nest Lake, Whiteface Reservoir and Lakewood Township.
