DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The company that makes vehicle mounted aerial devices for electric utilities, telecommunications, tree care, construction and other industries will be expanding its manufacturing facility on Port Terminal Drive in Duluth.  Altec HiLine LLC is based in Alabama and expanded to Duluth in 2002.  To support the planned expansion, the St. Louis County Board is being asked to make an application to the Minnesota  Department of Employment and Economic Development for a 250 thousand dollar Investment Fund loan.  To further accommodate Altec HiLine's growth, A-W Kuettel and Sons will relocate from the Port Authority's Industrial building to a newly constructed building in the Duluth Airpark.
