Duluth, MN (KDAL) - There is a report out about the University of Minnesota that has some lawmakers concerned, Senator Majority Leader Tom Bakk of Cook among them. A recent Wall Street Journal story on the University of Minnesota shows that the number of administrators working at the "U" has gone up 37 percent over the last decade. That's a bigger increase than the number of students or faculty. Bakk wants some answers and has asked the University's administration, of which there seems to be a lot, to give a report on their hiring practices to the legislature by the middle of March.
