DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Board of Directors of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon have decided to postpone the start of the race to March 10th.  The decision to move the event was based on recent rains that created an extremely hazardous trail and was done for the safety of the dogs and mushers.  The marathon had been scheduled for January 27th.  It is hoped that winter weather will allow for additional snow by March and improve the trail conditions.
