Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Electronic pull tab results are disappointing. The State of Minnesota had hoped that the new high tech form of gambling would raise sufficient funds to pay the State's share of the Viking's Stadium. That's not happening. Electronic pull tab sales in Minnesota restaurants and bars are falling far below expectations. Gross sales through the end of last month were four-point-two million dollars, far short of the 17-million expected to be raised by the end of July.
The State, and its taxpayers, are on the hook for three hundred and fifty million dollars to pay Minnesota's share of the new Vikings Stadium.
