ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - The Minnesota Sheriffs Association held a news conference Wednesday to announce their backing of proposed reforms to gun laws in the state.  They are looking for additions to the existing background checks for gun purchases, providing law enforcement with better access to mental health records and addressing the gaps in providing resources to those state residents  living with untreated mental illness.
