DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Minnesota Mobile Dental makes its way into Duluth on Monday in an effort to drum-up volunteer support that would provide free dental work to men, women and children from low-income families. The mobile clinic -- called "Little Flossie" -- will be parked at the Duluth Salvation Army off of the 27th Ave. West exit, and will host an open house from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to provide information to anybody in the dental field or beyond who might be interested in volunteering for future free clinics. At the moment, the mobile clinic is slated to visit Duluth monthly or quarterly according to need. The unit is outfitted with two complete dental suites that include all equipment and supplies. The clinic -- based in Eagan -- plans to see about 25 people in need on Tuesday.
