Duluth, MN (KDAL) - The Bayfield County Board voted this week eleven to one to oppose any legislation in Wisconsin that would ease restrictions and help dig a taconite mine and built a production plant in nearby Ashland and Iron Counties.  Prior to the meeting last night members of the Bad River Indian Reservation held a protest against the mine outside the Courthouse in Washburn.
