Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Crews continue to work on cleaning up and repairing damage from last year’s flooding in West Duluth. Teens from around Minnesota and Wisconsin descended upon Duluth Sunday for the ‘Hands of Hope’ campaign and have been working daily on several projects. Among them, crews have been cleaning out trash and debris from Keane Creek.
In related news, as part of the campaign, a block party will be held this evening at Memorial Park from 6:00 until 8:00. There will be food, live music and activities for kids. Organizers say 400 people turned out for last year’s block party. The event is free and open to the public.
