DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Cloquet boys hockey parents and their attorney fired the latest shot in the Dave Esse battle. Attorney Robert Mathias issued a statement Friday clarifying that not one but multiple parents past and present contributed to a petition filed with the school district seeking Head Coach Esse's ouster. Mathias said the complaints all revolve around state high school ethics and conduct violations, but do not include complaints about on-ice decisions or day-to-day operations of the team. Some complaints concern bullying against players, parents and rink employees, he said. Esse could not be reached for comment.
