DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - A combination of ice and snow on northeast Minnesota roads on Saturday made for slippery conditions and a busy day for the State Patrol. Sgt. Curt Mowers says the Duluth District responded to at least 49 vehicles that slid off the roads, there were 16 property damage crashes, one crash with an injury and they arrested 3 people for driving under the influence. Another snow event missed the Twin Ports today but left over 7 inches of snow in southeastern Minnesota into central Wisconsin.
