AUBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- The Wolverines and the Spartans are both are advancing to the Sweet-16 for the first time in the 75-year history of the Tournament, both teams registering blow-outs in the opening rounds.
Both Michigan teams have drawn tough assignments for the next round in the NCAA Tournament. Michigan will play the top seeded Kansas Jay Hawks in Arlington, Texas on Friday after Kansas handed a drubbing to North Carolina Sunday night, to move to the next round.
The other game is a renewal of a rivalry...The Spartans will play second- seed Duke at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Friday. Times to be announced.
