Duluth, MN (KDAL) - The latest year-over-year jobless numbers show gains in the Twin Ports. The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says the jobless rate fell by three-tenths of a percentage point. The trend has also been seen in other metro areas around the state. Seeing the largest increases were the Twin Cities and Saint Cloud areas. What sectors are seeing job gains? DEED says trade, transportation and utilities as well as the education and health services sectors saw the largest increases. Because of the government shutdown, numbers were unavailable for October.
