Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Green Bay Packer and Superior Spartan faithful gathered Thursday evening to raise money for the school’s planned sports complex.  The Green Bay Packer Tailgate Tour stopped into Superior at the high school’s gym.  Prior to the tour stop, the three Packer alumni—Paul Coffman, Lynn Dickey and James Lofton and current players Jarrett Bush, Brad Jones and Mason Crosby, turned ceremonial shovelfuls of dirt in a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the soon-to-be built complex.  Afterwards, the green and gold answered questions from fans and doled out autographs.  Between the Q-and-A and autograph time they tossed mini-footballs out to fans.  School officials say they sold 100 V-I-P tickets for the event, and another 400 general admission tickets. There were silent auctions and door prizes.  All of the proceeds went to the school’s stadium fundraising efforts.
