DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Snow totals vary but most of the Twin Ports saw 12 to 15 inches by Friday morning from the storm that blew into the area Thursday night. As of 7 a-m the official total at the Weather Service Office in Duluth was 13.9 inches. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon on Friday and winds are expected to continue at 35 miles per hour or more causing considerable blowing and drifting snow and near white out conditions in rural open areas. Most major roads and streets have been plowed but side streets and secondary roads remain snow covered. The DTA is running on a standard weekday schedule as of 7 a-m Friday but passengers should anticipate some minor delays through the morning.
