(WNFL) - The U-W Milwaukee men's basketball team will play its first conference road game tonight, when the Panthers take on Oakland in suburban Detroit.  U-W-M is 11-and-5 overall, and 1-and-1 in the Horizon League after getting pounded at home by Cleveland State last Saturday, 77-to-49.  It was the first time since 2006 that Milwaukee failed to make a three-pointer in a game, going 0-for-16 from downtown.  Four Panthers continue to average over 10 points a game, led by Matt Tiby with just under 14.  Oakland is 6-and-11 overall.  The Golden Grizzlies are also 1-and-1 as a new member of the conference, after winning its first-ever Horizon victory over Valparaiso on Saturday.  Travis Bader leads Oakland with 21-and-a-half points a game.  He has made 88 three pointers in his 17 games so far.  Also tonight, the fourth-ranked Wisconsin men will try to go 16-and-0 when they host Illinois.  The U-W Green Bay women host Illinois-Chicago, and the Marquette women are at home against Seton Hall.
