PINE COUNTY, MN (KDAL) - The Minnesota State Patrol and the Pine County Sheriff's Office are investigating a one vehicle crash on northbound I-35 Monday night that sent seven people to area hospitals. According to the State Patrol, the 1997 Blazer left the highway to the left, went back onto the road and flipped over on its roof, the vehicle then went off the road to the right and flipped again. All seven people were taken to Mercy Hospital in Moose Lake and from there, two people were taken to Essentia St. Mary's in Duluth and two others were taken to by helicopter to Children's Hospital in St. Paul. Three of the injuries were described as serious. Four of the occupants were children and all were from Rochester and Red Wing, Minnesota.
