Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon has plans for when her term comes to an end. The former Duluth City Councilor and state lawmaker told K-D-A-L’s ‘The John Gilbert Show’ that she wants to build a cabin that she’ll eventually leave to her family. She also wants read more, walk more and play golf. Prettner Solon announced in January that she would not seek re-election. While she admits to saying that she hadn’t spoken with the governor for some time, she says that she has a cordial working relationship with Governor Mark Dayton and that he gives her room to seek out those projects that she wants to accomplish. She adds that while their circles don’t always cross, they do attend a handful of committee meetings together.
