Summertime means concerts, but the way ticket prices have risen in the past few years, it's likely you won't be able to afford to go to more than a few shows this year.  Depending on who you want to see -- Justin Timberlake , for example -- you may not even be able to do that, especially if you purchase your tickets on the so-called "secondary market:" through a ticket reseller website.

According to TheStreet.com , this summer's top-priced ticket on the secondary market is Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience tour.  Tickets to the summer leg of his tour, which begins in July, are going for an average price of $349.50 each on reseller sites like TiqIq.com.  His tickets are even more expensive than those for music legend Paul McCartney . Those will set you back an average of $336.80 on the secondary market, according to TheStreet.

Another Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Billy Joel, has the third-most expensive ticket this summer, with an average resell price of $319.56.  Jay-Z and Beyonce's forthcoming joint tour comes in third, averaging $306.22, while Cher 's current tour is next, with an average resell price of $286.46.

Bruno Mars is #6 on the list: tickets to his Moonshine Jungle tour are going for a resell average of $279.89.  Aerosmith is next, with $275.85.  Lana Del Rey and Bruce Springsteen round out the top 10, with average secondary-market ticket prices of, respectively, $269.68 and $268.784.

It's important to note that if you buy tickets the old-fashioned way, through Ticketmaster, you can get seats at Justin Timberlake concert for just over $175 each.
