DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Duluth Police responded to a domestic situation around 2:10 a-m on Monday in the 200 block of East 2nd Street.
Officers talked to a woman who reported that her car window was broken by a male acquaintance who also making threats to her.
When attempting to speak to the 41 year old man, he was uncooperative and barricaded himself in his apartment.
After several hours of negotiating and less than lethal tactics to apprehend him, the suspect was taken to a hospital for minor injuries and then arrested on charges of domestic assault, threats of violence and criminal damage to property.
